Q: What is the turn around time for work orders?

A: Generally 1 - 2 weeks under normal circumstances. Bigger jobs such as refrets can take up to 4 weeks.


Q: What is the minimum cost for you to look at my guitar?

A: No minimum to look at the guitar, but the minimum labor charge is $30(such as restring)


Q: Do I need to schedule a time to drop off my guitar?

A: No, you can drop it off any time between 10-8pm Monday thru Thursday, or 12-5pm Friday-Saturday


Q: Where do I drop off my guitar?

A: The Musicians Woodshed, located in Lakeway TX. See the maps.


Q: What kind of instruments do you work on?

A: Just about anything with strings and frets!


Q: When do I pay for the work, and which methods of payment do you accept?

A: Payment is accepted after the guitar is finished. Sometimes a deposit is required. We accept all major credit cards, Apple Pay, and cash.


Q: Are you insured?

A: Yes, we are insured by The Hartford insurance company. Your instrument is protected under the policy while it is in our possession.


Q: Can you show me how to setup my guitar?

A: Yes, we offer guitar setup lessons! We go over all the necessary tools, techniques, and steps in order so you can learn how to optimize the setup on your own guitars. Contact for pricing.


Q: Can you build me a custom guitar from scratch? How much does it cost?

A: Yes! Custom builds start at $2500 depending on complexity and materials.
